Further Facebook Marketing - Sadia
For marketing, we used Facebook for the target audience/fans to communicate through social media, and for them to find our information about the film.
We promoted our media product by holding competitions, that engaged our fans/target audience and get them talking about it more.
Also, its a way to distribute our media product to a wider audience.
On the Facebook page, we used this image to promote the competition by giving an audience/fans a puzzle to engage the audience.- Rayaan
Frahzee made this banner for our Facebook page, to publicize our audience with our media product.

Poster - Sadia
This is our poster for our media product which was made by Photoshop. I used the font ' Trajan Pro' for all the text on the poster and i thought it gave a sort of creepy effect on the poster, and its a common type of text used for this type on genre. There was many different posters we made but believed none of them were suitable for our genre, and decided to develop it even further by looking at other posters such as 'The Unborn' and 'The Return.
From 'The Unborn' we were able to get the idea of using the same type of text, and also using half the face. By using half of the protagonist face, it gave of a mysterious vibe to who the person actually is, and we wanted to have the effect for our poster, which is why we did this.
Also from 'The Return', we used the idea of focusing on the eye. Eyes are an iconology of possession, and through our opening sequence, there is a possession scene. So we decided to make the eyes of our protagonist fully black, to show the possession. From 'The Return' poster, we also noticed that the poster mainly consisted of the colours black and white, or a gritty/dirty white type of colour.
We were not able to accomplish this within our poster, however with the use of Frahzee's help, she made the whole image into a blur. So I thought we could have the background as the foggy, misty, blur. Then i got a new image of the protagonist and placed it on top of the background and made it black and white, this way, the whole poster consists of black and white.
After this we needed to do the credits for the poster, for help we used the poster 'Mirrors' for help.
We used the credits part of 'Mirrors' for our poster. Rayaan participated with Sadia to do this part of the poster. We didn't use the credits for this poster word to word, but we used it to see what order the job roles would come in.
